actually, i didn't switch it to the 93 program until i got to dubwars, but i DID smoke Richard off the line by a car length, guess you can't launch with dsg. had a great time, the cops probably pulled another A3 over for my stupidity. think the ride there was alot more fun than the event itself. it was fun running into another caravan on the way there.

oh yeah, i guess this counts, but i smoked a GTI a few blocks from home.

and 1/2 tank of gas with octane booster pulls sooooooo much faster than with a full tank of gas. just a thought for you chef.

 

We missed you Evo. It would have been nice having you there.

The caravan up the 15 was a lot of fun. You would've had fun with the Vdubs too! Cheng is a crazy **** rd rager too. He was weaving right next to me through the entire trip. He even got the better of me at one point and I couldn't believe that I was trailing a stock 1.8T. [sm=smiley3.gif]

Just goes to show that road racing isn't all about who's the fastest. I did notice though that none of the Vdubs lasted too long with us!

Yup, I just got my *** handed to me on that. Can't believe the delay when I stomped on it at the green light. It was at least a 1/4 of a second. Like Stomp... wait for it... SCCREEEEECCCHHHHH!!![:@]

If I were to drag it at a speedway I'd probably have to hit the gas at the yellow part of the x-mas tree

 

Yeah, sorry I missed it. The wedding took FIVE hours and my weekend was devoted to family stuff for my brother-in-law who got hitched.
I'll definitely be there for the GTG at the end of the month and.......wait for it........wait for it..........I'M GETTING CHIPPED TOMORROW AFTER WORK ! (woo-hoo)

This is all part of God's rightful plan to keep the universe in order.
