SoCal PALOMAR RUN IN SAN DIEGO!!!!!!
um weekend would be best cause of school / work i would love to actually drive some new mountain roads (if 3000 feet can really be classified as a mountain, i live at 7500 feet...hahaha)
Virus,
Mt Palomar is off hwy 76 and interstate 15, which is 45 mins north of San Diego and 45 mins southeast of Irvine, there will be a caravan coming from the LA/Irvine/OC area so you can join them up
Socals4Driver........ Mt Palomar is actually 9000 ft in elevation, but the open/unguarded rails are at around 3000 ft and below, but the road up Mt Palomar is only 7 miles and within those 7 miles, you actually go up 7-8000 ft in elevation,
as for the actually road, if you can find it on on Mapquest, we're going up Mt Palomar, then down the mountain on the other side, then towards Julian on the 76, run a few hairpin turn before we get to Julian, have lunch, then out to the Borrega Dessert, and then take the same road back, the whole even would probably last from 4-5 hours, and if you guys are up for it, there is a Casino on the Way if you wanna stop by for a few hands of cards/slots
let me know if you guys can come so we can coordinate times and meet up times and maybe let the restaurant know that we're coming so we don't have to wait for lunch.

if you zoom up and follow highway 76, then turn left on S Grade Rd, that's where we're running, then we're getting back on the 76 heading towards Julian, there's some awesome rds there also, so it's not just Palomar that's we're running, it's Julian and Borrega Desert also!!!!
