I would stick with Authentic Ross-tech hardware and software. The cheap obd tools are often flakey. When it doesn't work right, Ross-tech will not give you support. It costs a little more, but is well worth it.

Every time I reinstall windows I have problems with software and drivers and I'm so tired of it, to be honest, because I have to spend time looking for drivers like usb xhci compliant host controller driver download, installing them and so on. It's good at least that there are sites like https://softwaretested.com/drivers/u...st-controller/ where I can find it quickly. I must say that third-party sites are even more convenient than the official database of drivers.
