Default software help

I traded in my 99 a4 2.8l 5sp man, for a 2004 a4 1.8l turbo, ultrasport with a 6 sp man, recently, & am going get it flashed with giac software this week from my audi dealer. Want to put the larger injectors & exhaust on in the future, but was wondering if the new injectors from giac have to be retapped in the intake manifold like the apr ones (see scr episodes from last year). Has anyone with the giac chip (flash) done this yet? Just wondering, or should I just go with apr. I really want to stay with the giac, as it done through my dearership, & they have no warranty issues & have never heard anything bad about giac. Would like to hear from any b6 owner who has had their car flashed, good or bad.

No waranty issues? You mean Audi will chip you and it wont void your factory waranty in any way?? Huh??

Thats what I asked before asked before I bought, & my salesman assured me that flashing wouldn't affect my warranty on my ecu or turbo if flashed through the dealership. It will be flashed by an audi forum member, so I think it's safe.

Make sure you get that in writing. Chipping the car will void the warrenty on the entire drivtrain inclueding the turbo. Another thing to think about is this dealer is willing to bend the rules to cover your car but another dealer may not.
