Soo... i finally bought a lip spoiler... how should i go about painting it?
Yeah I bought an M3 lip as well... bought the Audi paint and clearcoat, was going to do it myself, but needed to buy adhesion promoter and primer... and adhesion promoter was expensive... I ended up getting one of the best body shops around to do it for me, 60 bucks cash, Canadian. It is absolutely perfect.
Don't forget when you apply it, make sure there is no wax or polish on your paint. You want raw clearcoat... so claybar it, use isopropyl alcohol and a soft sponge or cloth... just get the damn surface clean!

well.. i got it in yesterday... and from what i heard before i bought it .. it wasnt the flimsy rubber spoiler.. soooo.. when i got it in.. it WAS the flimsy rubber piece.. .. it will still look good.... but i gotta figure out how to paint the rubber piece without the paint cracking.. [:@]
i'v herd that you can find something like bulldog paint something or other at like any autoparts store that people have been using for painting the lowers on the doors (rubber part) and they say it doesn't chip cus it makes it flex or something. might want to go looking up the painted lowers threads.
