i have a 02 A4 1.8T with 42,000 mi....im planning of changing my spark plugs, my next door neighbor is a tune-up technician at ford and i asked him if he could change my plugs for a good price....my question: is there a certain calibration fit,or gap fitting when replacing the spark plugs??? if so that way he can fit them in to audi specifications

 

Get some NGK BKR6E gapped to .028.

Do it yourself. It's extremely easy.

 

With no chip you will have better results with the BKR6E's gapped at .032

 

Don't be cheap, get the platinum plugs:
