Rofl The AEB engine (97-99.5) is the very most talked about engine on this forum. Did you REALLY try to search, or are you just foolin?
Elaborate on burned up please.
EDIT
Ok ok I did a search on 1998 spark plugs and didnt come up with much either. NGK BKR6E for stock, or NGK BKR7E if youre running near 20 psi with a chip or more. Those plugs can/should be used in all the years for the 1.8t engine
Gapped to .030 for stock, and .028 for chip+

But when you say burned up, even 1 week old plugs arent going to look pretty. A little carboned, but if you dont know when theyve been replaced last its probably a good idea to do them.

ty. there wasnt much search results on the sparks for my motor was there? the only reason im doing this is cause im missfireing on cyl. 3. and im trying to see if its my coils or my sparks. i swapped coil 3 with coil 2 to see if im gonna missfire on cyl. 2. if it fires on cyl. 3 again im gonna swap cyl3 spark with cyl 2 spark, and see if i still get a misfire on cyl 3. if it still missfires on 3, then i will return to you guys for some help. appreciate the help onepoint8. ty

If youre going to go to the trouble of swapping spark plugs, just replace themall. Those NGK's I was talking about are about $1.70 per plug. But your problem is probably a coil pack or your ICM.

i changed my icm about 8 months ago. can it go bad that quick? also, i cleared the codes last night, and this morning i noticed a little hesitation in my car but there no check light on. i went home n scanned it again. same code came up p0303, thats with the coil swap. so im gonna go replace all my sparks right now n let u know how things go. i guess if it still happens its my icm

went to audi/vw mechanic and picked up brand f***ing new sparks. drove ood a for a bit, boom misfire cyl 3. this is so damn annoying right now. so its not my coils and not my sparks. ICM? is there a way to test to see if its the icm? i dont wanna spend more money if thats not the problem.
