NGK seem to be the spark plugs of choice as they are copper. Many people with the 1.8T engines have said that platinum plugs have caused problems. Do a search for NGK and you'll find out which ones people suggest.

NGK platinum spark plugs are fine. PFR6Q

The plugs are under the ignition coils and there are no high voltage wires.

Change the air and cabin filters.
