How much on average will it cost the dealer to change the plugs and wires on my 05 A6 3.2? I have 55,000 miles on it and should get them changed plus I have a CA Smog test to pass...

My maintenance guide does say to replace the spark plugs at 55k. Those are 101-905-621 and run 12.75 each. The coil packs are part number 06E-905-115-E and run 15.75 each. Both items are in stock and OEM Audi parts. You should talk to your dealer and give them your vin# to see if your coil packs can be changed out on the campaign. The coil pack part number I listed above is for the newest number. Look to see if that's the part number on the packs on your car now. Check all of them too. If it isn't, you will want to call your dealer to see if you can get those for free. The spark plugs are something you would have to pay for though as those are not part of any campaign.
