i just bought an 04 a4 sedan, and cant seem to find the exact speaker size. i keep seeing 4" or 5.25" in the fronts and rears. any help would be awesome.

 

well... are you looking to replace with aftermarket one or just want to know the size??? i believe they are 5.25 or 5.5, one of those two. but i have a pair of 6.5 inch rockford fosgate components that im gettin installed hopefully this month... so its on! jus FYI.

 

yes im looking to replace, if the 6.5 will work thats perfect i have two rockford compenent sets left over from my last car

 

I have an 03 A4 and just had my car in for an amp install and speaker wiring install. The speakers that are in the doors are oversized 6.5" midrange speakers. The tweeter is built into the door panel. At least that's what they told me. They even showed them to me when they had one of the door panels off but I couldn't really tell what size it was just by looking at it for a few seconds.
