On my ride in this morning my driver door speaker started popping and cracking. Anyone know what size that speaker is? I want to replace ASAP.

Anyone know how difficult it is to replace? Do I have to remove the door panel?[:@]

 

Im about 95% sure that its a 6.5 but I think you will need and adapter for aftermarket speakers. shouldnt be to hard to do. I would replace with oem. Good luck

 

I've been told soo many things. BestBuy says 6 1/2's. Crutchfield says 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 with an adapter and the stealership doesn't know. They just know that it costs $31 for an OEM replacement speaker. I just feel that if I'm going to be digging in the door, I may as well upgrade both doors.

Any ideas....
