speed tunning chip expierience
on my way back from school my cel was flashing for 3 secs and it stopped i had past 3k rpm again it started flashing and it sopped once my vag com comes in (hopefully tomarow) i will tell you more, 99 not theyre fault i think its a coil pack going bad
I should receive mine tomorow or sunday, thats what oliver told me.
hopefully everything works out and i get it tomorow! cant wait haha

I got my ECU back, but im only boosting peek at 13psi, shouldnt it peek at 20 something and hold at 16-17? I feel a little bit of increase but as much as i heard you guys get....
could it be because of the DV? my vaccum was messed up because of the DV so i fixed it( I have a forge 007 with the green spring) could it be the green spring that i need to change to the yellow one?

Oliver told me it was 1.5 bar...good for 16-17psi...
if you see my post about my revo gauge my vaccum was at 5...because the rubber in my DV was twisted, then i cleaned the DV and fixed the vaccum went down to 20 like it suppost to...
but my boost still sucks...could it be my turbo or the spring in my dv?
1.5 bar = about 22 psi. Seems kinda high for a k03 chip.
It may take a week or 2 for the ecu to adapt... But do these things too:
First. Find a obd2 scanner and clear codes if there are any(just for peace of mind). Its good to do after an engine upgrade/fix so you have a clean slate, and no old stored codes to mess you up if you have a problem with your recent mod/fix.
Second. Do a TBA
Third. Make a boost leak tester. Especially make sure to check the L shaped hose on the intake mani by the throtle body. Its known to rip.
Anytime the ecu/battery is disconnected a TBA needs to be done, it could be as simple as that, but I doubt it. You could play with your DV springs too if after a couple weeks there is no change.
It would also help to get someone elses boost #'s with the same chip.

#1 do you know if autozone have this scanner obd2 ?
#2 Im still kind of a noob, sorry whats a TBA
#3 Yea I was thinking of doing the boost leak test...and I'll check that hose...
Thanks =)
oh and sorry I didnt state this before...i said maybe could be the turbo because...
when I got the car, I didnt know anything about audis or turbo...and I had my turbo rebuilt
with a K04 spindle...i dont know how this works but my turbo is a K03 with a k04 spindle.
could it be this also? thats the program would work correctly with my setup?
but again its a k03 with diff spindle should've at least boost normal...
