Got chipped a couple of weeks ago (REVO), and bought my Forge 007 at about the same time. Didn't get around to installing the 007 until today. Pretty easy... took me a little over an hour. Then, took it for a test drive. It works much better than the stock one. I chose Forge, cause you can take it apart, re-grease it if needed, and change the springs around. For those of you who have questions about the different Forge springs, and are too lazy to search,here's the info that I got from Patty by searching:

green = stock
yellow = 15-23 psi (90% of chipped cars will use this)
blue = 23-30 psi
red = 30+ psi

And the kit does NOT include the red spring. If you buy the Forge 007 from ECS Tuning, it will come with: the green spring installed, 2 spacers, a yellow spring, and a blue spring. It took me only 15 minutes to install, and no noticeable flapping or any other problems with using the yellow spring and no chip yet.

this is the valve i have http://www.forgemotorsport.com/conte...duct=FMCL007PA, but the chrome one, when i bought it the guy told me it was a 007 and when i opened today there was a gray little rubber twisted so i fixed it and THAT fixed my vaccum problem...im gonna get the yellow spring hopefully my boost gets better.
Nope, this is the valve that you have:http://www.forgemotorsport.com/media/fmdvr.pdf

Its been discontinued. The 007 is a piston valve, the DVR is a diaphragm based unit. We recommend that particular valve to be installed with boost entering the bottom port...

I had basically the same codes a couple months ago (mis on 2 cylinders, idle low, etc.) The tech at my shop said was due to bad packs changed all 4 (if 1 or 2 are gone 3&4 are likely to follow)and have had no problems since. He saidthe idle & O2 codes are often triggered by the misfires. He suggested we just changed the packs and if the O2 code came back we would go from there.

definitely not laughing at you, but due to the fact that i was told that a coil pack going bad would have nothing to do with a chip. but we've already talked about that.

i would be bummed to, so sorry, im not laughing at you, i just was laughing because of the irony.

Those codes could be old, as I said in your thread.... If your CEL isnt flashing, you dont have a misfire. Clear the codes and see if any come back. Dont get all excited about fault codes that could have been stored from who knows when. Clear em so you have a clean slate.

he is right, re-set your ecu and see if anything comes back. If you have the misfire code again (or flashing cel) you will most likely have to replace the coilpacks.

if no codes come back, then you are free and clear my friend
