speed tunning chip expierience
The coil packs never fail all at the same time. If you have misfires for all 4 cylinders, then I doubt its directly ignition related. It would have to be a fuel/air issue or possibly a bad ICM for pre 00 engines. Even when the ICM goes though, normally its a cyl 2 misfire, and hardly ever all cyl's.

the mis fire is only on 3 an 4 not all of them...

I put in the speedtuning chipped ecu tonight. I didn't take it on the highway, but on the back roads it haulled *** in 2 and 3. I didn't want to take it too much beyond that because it's been raining and freezing rain and snow so the roads are slippery in spots, and I don't want to end up in a ditch too. It's all hills around where I live. When I get it out on the highway tomorrow, I'll see what it has for sure. I post up what theboost spikes to and holds at. Anything else anyone wants to know about this chip? just post and ask me.
I know it got over 18 psig tonight, but like Isaidthe weather wasn'tgood for maxing out the car, plusI gottaget used to the new power curve first. It'slike a new car, unpredictable until I getused to it again. still handles like an old car, but I've got something lined up for that -a project between Christmas and New Year's when I'm off work and[sm=partyparty.gif]new shocks, springs and complete front control arm kit.Still haven't decided on which to get yet.

well, the coilpacks are better on the 2000's, and heat isn't a problem in Ct this week. It's been about 25-35 degrees F.The car felt good this morning definitely holding at 16 psig with the Forge 007P DV with the yellow spring. I couldn't really get on the gas 100% this morning either - commuter traffic [:@]. I'll start a new thread and post more info when I get more time driving it. But I like it so far.

Nope, this is the valve that you have:http://www.forgemotorsport.com/media/fmdvr.pdf
Its been discontinued. The 007 is a piston valve, the DVR is a diaphragm based unit. We recommend that particular valve to be installed with boost entering the bottom port...

Gas mileage in my car is still anywhere from 32 to 25 mpg, depending on how I drive and shift, with 91 or 93 octane.
