Congrats! Welcome to the 2.8 club! 2nd gear pulls great while driving in tip-mode.

Quick question tho: have you noticed that when you drive withtip, and shift from 2nd to 3rd, that the rpms tend to drop suddenly as it kicks into gear? Don't know if it's the chip causing that, or my tip-chip, so thought i'd ask.

 

where did u get ur TIP chiped? i want one too, speedtuning told me it gonna be atleast $500, after i'm getting stage 2

 

quick question. Does the speedtuning chip remove the governor and/or increase the rev limit?

 

I bought it off an AF member a few months back. Paid something like $225 for the entire TCU with the tip-chip installed.

 

No, I haven't noticed that. But I have noticed that the chip feels better and better as the tranny adapts...I guess it feels like the tranny can't quite keep up. I don't know of a better way to describe the sensation, but that gets better and better with every drive. I'll make a point of looking for what you described tomorrow and let you know.
