BTW, I checked the address on yahoo maps and it came back as Speed Tuning LLC. For those that may be on the fence it all seems legit.

Alright, I contacted Oliver this morning and he put me down with the group buy. Everything seems on the up and up and I cant wait to get this goin. Now I'll need a DV and boost gauge as well. Are boost gauges hard install yourself? My mechanical skills are pretty basic.
The best deal (new) so far that I found is the Forge 007P DV at ecstuning - 10% off + free shipping, but do not buy the $13 spring tuning kit, because it comes with it already. Patty at Forge recommended using the yellow spring without any spacer for the chipped 1.8T application.

Boost gage choice is up to you. I picked Autometer, because I have their gages in my other car, and the name is very reputable for quality. Just need patience and basic skills to put it in.

Here is a link to apr_a4's review https://www.audiforums.com/m_723596/tm.htm

As well as a couple others from some guys on euromodder.com

B6 a4 3.0
"Done and done, throttle response has greatly improved which is all I expected so Im happy."

2001 TT 225
"Let me tell you I deserve a swift kick in the nuts for waiting so long to get chipped. It rocks!! 20+ PSI on a K04-20 is pretty fun almost as good as a GT28R!"

This is the real deal guys, and a hell of a deal at that. Oliver should be more than happy to answer any questions.

yup, no problem. just remember, when you get it, it will have the weaker green spring in it. unscrew the top and replace the green spring with the yellow spring, and no spacers. That's what Patty AT Forge told me would work best.

I know the green spring will probably work better for lower boost applications, and theblue spring for higher boost applications than the yellow spring. The spacers just allowan adjustable increase in stiffness between different springs.Does anyone else use a different spring and spacer combination on their Forge 007 with their chipped 1.8T with better results than just the yellow spring?

I've got an appointment with Oliver tomorrow to get my 2.8 chipped. Luckily for me, he has another shop which he will be at tomorrow, and it's only 20 minutes from me.

Haven't seen any reviews yet for the 2.8, so i'm looking forward to being the first with this chip (i think). I'll post up my review tomorrow.
