So I'm on my way to the Yankee game on saturday and my car starts smoking on the GWB! This is after I've been drive for about a half hour to 45 minutes with the a/c blasting and cruising at about 85 miles an hour. I pop the hood in the right lane stopping traffic, waiting for the smoke to clear meanwhile yelling back at everyone screaming at me and I see a hose split from the intake manifold. I'm pretty sure it's a vacuum line. Slapped some electrical tape on the hose and went to the game. Drove home no smoke. Yesterday my CEL came on still no smoke. I'm guessing that smoke was steam from when the hose split because it was so hot. Anyone have any suggestions on the smoke? I'm replacing the hose today and gonna hook up to a Vag tomrrow. Hopefully the code is related to that hose and I can just clear it and be on my merry way.
