i've been thinking of putting neuspeed sport spings (1.25 lowering). i would like to know how this effects the plushness of the ride. i love the current feeling.

 

if you're using the stock shocks they will be shot in a few months, maybe sooner. if you have the audi sport shocks, they will hold up a little longer, but not much. neuspeed springs are probably the best springs if you're concerned about ride quality.

 

i have those springs. i put them on my b6, it may be different for a b5 if thats what you have, but i dont know. anyway, they dropped my ride by a lot. ride is stiffer without a doubt, but if the roads are somewhat smooth, it shouldnt bother you. (i live on a dirt road and it sometimes bothers me.) it just feels more agile.

 

how do i know which shox i have? i've got the "loaded" a4 2.8Q .& why do they wreck the shox so fast... travel issues? i don't want the RACE springs , just the SPORT. ty

 

You can find out by looking to see what color your shocks are. Red is sport.
