you NEED shocks that can handle the drop a set of lowering springs give you. You stock shocks will blow out within 6 months pretty much gauranteed with a 1-2" drop. Youre going to have to spend a lot more than $300 to do it right. So if you cant afford it right now id hold off until you can or else youll be taking everything appart again to fix it in no time.

So the only thing that could go wrong is in 6 months or so your old shocks MIGHT blow out and you will have to take it apart and replace them? I mean really, if that is all that will go wrong, whats the big deal?

Its not "if" or "might" its "will" and "when". Its a big deal because swapping shocks out isnt a 20 minute job and makes no logical sense to do springs without the right shocks.

save your pennies and go for H&R springs(sport or race, depends on what kind of driving you do) and then some bilstein shocks, you'll be set cheapest deal I've seen was 728$

good luck!

Edit: If you just do lowering springs, you are litterally driving on luck....and depending on luck you might make it to (add something important here), or you might.....not

Yeah your shocks will eventually blow, but for some people it is worth riding on them for now. I would go ahead and install the springs yourself, it only takes a couple hours. Then install the shocks once you get your cake up. So really all you would be losing is your own time, and possibly ruining your stock shocks. Not to mention you could get good at messing with the suspension.

yea well he is wrong. if ur doing it ur self and dont mind tearing in there in less than a year go right ahead but if ur paying someone to do it, do it all because no one wants to pay for labor twice.

It takes a lot longer than 2 hours to do all 4 springs. Where are you getting your info????
