Default Springs - Quick Question

Somebody is selling some S4 OEM stock springs on ebay from a 1999 S4. Will they fit my 2001.5 1.8T A4? Mine is not a Q -

I guess I'll need to get some new shocks, but I figured it would be hard for these stock springs to become worn out from a 99. Whatcha think?

Thank you,
GJ

Depends on the mileage! I have a 99 with high miles, the shocks were crap when I bought it.

Your shocks sucked, but your springs were OK? I figured I would need to get some new shocks for the suspension. How's the drop on the car with the stock springs?

Thanks,
Andrew

I dont think they will work.

Plus, you dont want to change springs without shocks... they will die quickly. Coilovers or shock/spring combo is the only logical way to go.
