now i realize evryones probly a lil jealous of the srt4, even tho they are front by, but, if you had the choice between a rex and an srt, which would it be. these dodges are really pissing me off, u can get a lil neon for like 18g's and spend the same money on stage 3 as most of us german car tuners spent on stage 1.

 

Yep theres a guy with one at my work and he's spent maybe 4grand it runs 11.2 1/4 it sucks cause for 4 grand on our cars you get crap.

hey sandbox, no disrespect farther than that u laid out, but if you noticed wat i drive you'll then notice that i wouldn't ever own a piece of jap crap and it would take quite a bit of perks for me to buy an srt4. now that said, i was simply looking for others opinions on the two cars against eachother. not which i should buy, ill never own either, im not poor...ok yes i am...but i dont drive poor person sports cars.

 

The SRT is fast for cheap. Being front wheel drive its not best from a stop but it is absolutely deadly in a highway race from 60 up. Having owned a 03 WRX I'd say my opinion as to which is better is obvious.

The "Fast for cheap" slogan always makes me cringe. I've driven a "fast for cheap" Z28...such a horrible car. The problem with the "cheap" aspect is that it often removes a lot of the fun from the car as well. I don't care if my car is fast if it rattles, feels cheap when you sit in it, etc.

A friend of mine and I traded cars and went for a drive yesterday - me in his WRX, and him in my Audi. While I really like WRX's, it seemed a little uncivilized. There wasn't nearly the comfort, nor the fit and finish. I'd be satisfied with my car being that fast, and I'll be there with a chip and exhaust. I'll have the best of both worlds.

As far as the Neon goes, not in a million years would I get one. And it IS a Neon, not an SRT 4; it is a Viper, not an SRT 10; a Magnum, not an SRT 8. I don't tell people I drive a 1.8 litre engine - I'm not ashamed of my moniker. My next door neighbor has a Neon SRT4, but it's his summer car . His winter car is a Neon 2.0. Haha

 

there crap i hate them lol. It seems like everyone that has one thinks there god of the road kinda like Mr. Badass driving a stock gt mustang. There everywhere in texas its sad and funny but more sad.

 

WRX, AWD. Nice car for the monry, but still not an Audi.
