are u planing on doing more mods like a bigger turbo so the name will stay true or just trying to max out the k04

 

max the k04 for now, but of course the biggest turbo i can run eventually. i plan on boring it out to 2.0 and forged internals. new everything. going big time as soon as its not my every day driver which is like 4-5 months. i have that and an 84 bronco xlt 5.0 but thats my off road bitch for santa barbara ca where i used to go to college. i plan on buying a new car for the everyday crap in late spring.

 

that will be nice, this is my dd car so i have to becareful of what i do to my car, like in 4 days i have to drive 800 miles back to school and there are very little place between colorado and texas that can fix my car is some thing bad happens

 

yea, im leavin in like three weeks to drive from jersey to cali. its a long trek and so far out of the five times doing it ive only had one problem and it was my headlights going out.

 

lucky i have had 2 exhaust manifolds crack and fall apart many ic pipes blow off, blown 2 turbos and some other small stuff

 

Ooh I dunno Jeff, its gonna be close when we both have built motors with the boost turned up. I'm aiming for 430awhp. I thought you said you were running 30psi before?

ya the dyno was done at 25psi cus of the a/f but in texas i run around at 30psi and when i want to have fun i can go to 40psi
edit: tom what size of injectors are u running

 

right now im running 440's at 4bar aka 510cc, but I'll be switching to 580 or 6xx following the rebuild. You really need to know the specs on that turbo and look at the map before u turn it up to 40psi. I think most of the t3/t4's just blow hot air past 30-35psi. If it could go higher effiecently than I'll dyno at high boost than 30psi, but I havent really looked at my map that closely yet
