Default Stage 2 clutch kit

So guys, if any of you have read my previous post, you will remember that i was having some issues with my clutch being very worn and was looking to replace with an OEM replacement or an aftermarket one. After lookin around at aftermarket kits, this one seemed to be pretty good for what i'm lookin for. The stage 2 kit runs for $500, not bad.

Like it says, its for use with the OEM flywheel (dont want lightweight). What do you guys think of this kit? Its rated for 300hp/300tq and i prob wont be goin beyond that anytime soon, so it looks like it will be good for my daily driver. ill be doing suspension with this upgrade, so when i save up after that ill be doin chip/exhaust so it might be nice not having to worry about blowing my stock clutch. i know most stock clutches would last way longer with just chip/exhaust but if mines already flakin out ill take the safe route. Let me know what you guys think.

I'd get a second opinion on that clutch, Mike..

Remember Achtuning wants your money. My clutch is only slightly worn after 114k, you're only at 60-some.

He only drove it in a parking lot too.

Get a chip already, you're missing out!

And I'm definitely getting a little bit lighter flywheel when I upgrade my clutch. IMO, the RPMs don't drop fast enough between shifts with the stock flywheel.

Why would you want the RPM's to drop more between shifts. Wouldn't you want them to stay higher to keep the turbo spoolin?

Because if I shift quickly its not enough time for the RPMs to drop to the RPMs for the newly selected gear, shifting quickly causes the *transmission* to suddenly slow the engine from high RPMs (5k+) to low (3k+). This is weird to me. It feels better to me when the RPMs drop closer to the RPMs of the newly selected while performing a "normal quick shift". In order to allow this to happen now, I have to do some really lazy shifting: 2 seconds or so.
