I have only recently purchased my '99 A41.8TQM and I have a few other vehicles I drive so I have not put many miles on it yet. I realized when I bought the car it needed a battery replacement as it still had the orginal battery from Audi in it. It always cranked a little slow but started right up, until today. I last drove the car on Monday night for about an hour or so. Parked it that night and haven't touched it until this afternoon (Wednesday). Went to start it and it still cranked slow but it wouldn't start. Sounded like it wasn't getting fuel... it would "catch" every once and a while. Tried repeatably for about 2 minutes, it finally started and ran fine. No check engine light or anything. Could this have been due to the weak battery even though it eventually did start? Or is there some kind of common issue about these cars, like it gets pi$$ed off if I don't drive it everyday? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks....let the flaming begin...
