Startup is loud
I've read on here that some people's cars have a rough idle at startup but I'm not sure if the thing I have is the same thing.
When I start my car up in the morning, the engine is pretty loud and the car idles at about 1500 RPM for about 30-35 seconds, then the RPM drops to below 1000. I just assumed this was some Audi feature to help the car warm up quicker. Am I right in that assumption or is this something I should be worried about?

when the cars are cold they dump more fuel in them to warm up kinda wasteful but thats what happens the high rpm is your engine charging your battery, from teh pwer it used to start the car, its normal on all cars.
