Default Stealership.

So i take my car into rip off America today for a flashing brake light. They call back saying my brake pads need to be replaced the warranty only cover them till 12000 miles? I say no dont replace them. Anyway what my questions are shouldnt this be covered in the warranty? When the pads are bad shouldnt i get a ABS warning?

Thanks, Adam

Ihad a 100,000 mile warranty when i bought my Audi. That covers engine, transmission, electronics, drivetrain, bearings. It doesn't cover tires or brakes - they are considered "wear items".

Hell if there covered under warrenty and they say it do it. I wouldnt care new is new that just mean when that 12000 mile mark hits your not worried for that much longer.

I love that picture of speed I was going to do that on the way back from Utah to her but lock the camra in the trunk opps.. It might of screwed me over lol 142 crusing down the freeway at 5100rpm is a fun day.

Im at 26k miles so supposedly its not covered? There's no way in hell im paying 270$ for front brake pads.

Does anybody know if when brake pads are going out you get a ABS light or Parking Brake light?

Try another dealer. I believe they're under warranty for
4 years or 50K mi.
