some things to consider

- sxtb (special x throttle body)
- silicone hose kit
- Stage 3 MAF
- Stage 3 velocity stack
- intake manifold workshop
- head workshop

I know this is an old thread, but...

Take a V6 over a I4-T. Torque is the name of the game for get up and go. HP works to spin things, but torque does the pulling. The V6 will win with torque every time.

In the end, though, personal preference does matter. If you want to wring it out or pull off a turn.

I base this on my experience with motorcycles on the track. I ran a I4 and now own a V-twin. The I4 spun up faster and is more on the edge. The V has more torque and is easier to control and roll-on quicker off the apex. When parity ruled in Superbike racing nothing could touch the twin. For argument's sake it is anagalous to the question posed here.

Hey duganc, I see what your saying but there talkin 12vs, not many outstanding mods to get alot of torque. In my 1.8 im pushing 270pd of torque which is alot more then the v6 could.
