so i just finished my stock air box mod that was posted on this site many times....but i still have no noise coming from the DV why not? and how loud should it be if it was making noise? does anyone have videos of it...car is just stock besides air box mod help me out!!

 

I haven't looked over the Mod for a long while, so I'm not sure how the finished project looks. But if its still in the stock airbox housing Idoubt you'll be getting enough sound (if any) to hear over your engine.. I mean thats how faint it will be. Just get a cone filter if you want sound, and throw a AZ custom heatshield in there for performance (Then your set)

If you just want sound thats one way to do it, new product by "Forge" seems to be great. Check the stickie at the top of the page for info on it, it offers sound and reliability. You can do that or make your own cone intake setup like I suggested, just unsure how much the airbox mod will offer in the department of sound.

Mabye someone with the Mod knows how to pull sound out of it, well see

 

Did you use a K+N filter in replacement of the stock one? Plus the stock dv doesnt have much sound try a K+N plus a forge dv and you'll be straight.

 

also remember your not boosting that much so venting 8psi isnt going to be that loud. if you chip your car you will raise your boost and make a louder noise. get a new dv and the noise will be louder. the forge splitter will give you a great noise with out the negative side effects of having a full vta bov
