leak on my 01 a4 1.8t i had looked and cleaned the underbody numerous times and i still find 3 or 4 little spots on my driveway i cant find where the hell its comin from its drivin me nuts!! any sugestions ?

take off all the plastic under the car and then you'll see where it's actually dripping from

i did that i,.. i saw somr old oil laying around so i cleaned all that up now mysteriously those spots ened up on my drive way i took the spash pan down and looked around and i dont see anything leaking!

Did you stick your finger in whatever it was and smelled/tasted it? Does it have color?

If it's just water, maybe you drove through a puddle and didn't realize it. Or if you were running the A/C, it could be condensation.

Did you use the windshield washer when you were driving it? When I arrived at work this morning, I saw something dripping underneath my A4. I touched it, smelled it and tasted it. It didn't have a smell, it wasn't oil or coolant, and it had a bluish color. I'm pretty sure it was washer fluid. I did use the washer when I was driving into work, so it must have been washer fluid that ran down the windshield into the cowl drains.

A/C is a very good possibility "the pipes thaw when its stopped" that were the spots of water come from then the pipes dry out from the heat of the engine hence no visible signs of leaks
