Strange noise

he said it sounds like its coming from the rear...
if ts coming fromthe rear i would say wheel bearing...

they go bad and start whining.

just take your axels out and press on some new wheel bearing.
they are around a hundred bucks. atleast they were for my corolla.

yea it might be a wheel bearing but i dont think they cost nearly that much they were only about $40 for our 90 200tq

does it sound like a muffled horn? My car is doing that noise on Natural and Movement. I can only guess it’s the fuel pump on my A4

sounds like wheel bearing to me,may be fuel pump struggling because of plugged fuel filter,and the secondary air injection pump is for smog purposes and all 6's have 'em.

I'm pretty sure its the wheel bearing, I don't think its the fuel pump or the secondary air injection pump. I will just buy some new bearing tomorrow and see what happens.
