Hi guys,
I recently noticed that when I start the car there is a strange noise coming from the engine compartment. This only happens when the heat is on (if I start without it, everything sounds fine). So I'm guessing its the fan scratching something, but I have no idea. Has anyone got any advice, or should I just get it checked out?

By the way, car has 112K miles.

 

I'd remove the pollen filter. Get the fan on high. Open the windows. Spray silicone lubricant into filter hole. Replace filter.

 

possibley the bearings in the blower motor

 

Coincedenly crazyhawks solution will blow silicone spay all over your interior dependin on what settin you have it on
