2002 b6 1.8t fwd,i posted before about a strange noise im getting from engine, only when the car is in gear, and only happens as the clutch is realesed, and at low rpm- below 2000rpm.

the sound does not occur when in neutral or idle,only as the car starts to move, be it at a stop sign etc. its a weird gargling/humming/ rattling sound, only last for a bout 5seconds and dissappears over 2000rpms or so.

i changed engine mounts, checked belts still no good.
now ive narrowed it down to the intate area, by the turbo.

sound like the car is gona bog down or stall, but then clears up. the noise does not effect rpm- no fluctuation.


anyone else ever experience this?? like i said its not a mount issue, it almost sounds like something loose inside intake

any help greatly appreciated

 

Ment to say the noise is by the intake manifold in the trottle body region, definatly coming from that location, something inside.
