hey everyone. i have a 2000 a4 1.8t fwd with h&r coilovers. recently i noticed that theres this strange clanking noise coming from the back of the car when i start to accelerate or make turns. someone told me it could be my control arms. if it is in fact my control arm, do i need to replace the whole thing, or is there some kind of quick fix? thanks in advance

 

It might just be the bushings. If you can replace them without any other issues, then you've saved a bundle. It's rare, but sometimes it is the (only) cause of the problem. If not, then you'll have to do the control arm replacement.
