If your OBD II VAGport is not under the dash,by the driver's left knee,
it is located behind the center console.

my OBD II VAGport is under the dash, but i have a space/hole for it behind my armrest, in there i have male CAT5 Link Cable and inside my armrest i got female CAT5 link port. i didnâ€™t check voltage on it yet, been busy at home, maybe iâ€™ll try tonight.
some ppl suggested itâ€™s for car phone, but it cant be possible to plug regular phone in there, coz itâ€™s to wide, regular phone cable has 4 wires and cat-5 cable has 7.

lied! Cat-5 link cable has 8 wires in it.

i knocked out the phone jack and threw my ipod connector through there.........looks really clean

the gold seems to be the antenna port on a gps module.

i would have to guess some kind of aftermarket navigation equiptment like the last guy was saying. may have had an external antenna as well some communication with the radio to deliver audible directional prompts
