Strange vibration - HELP!
I have a 2003 A4 1.8T Quattro with 52K miles on it ...
This morning I took out the car in a hurry - didn't warm it up at all. The temperature was around 40-45. As soon as I got out of the driveway, the car gave a strage vibration for 6-7 seconds ... from thedrivetrain for sure, itfelt like it's gonna stop. The Check engine also blinked 2/3 timesthen - but it didn't stay on. I stopped on the side to check. But soon (within 15-20 seconds)the normal engine noise was back - and the car sounded fine. And then drove fine as well (my usual commute of 22 miles).
Do any of you know what could it be? Was it just not warm enough? The oil change is due in another 1400 miles - but the oil looks pretty dirty in the dipstick. Could that be a reason? But I have driven past oil change deadlines before without any hitch. Please let me know if you can think of anything.
