how did you manage to strip that bolt? on mine, the correct hex key didn't even seem like it would fit, till i pushed hard to get it in. it should've been a solid connection.

to fix it, go to sears (automotive store might also have it). they have a kit exactly for this.

cool thanks. mine had a lot of rust in it so i think i used the wrong sized hex and the rust just broke off and it was stripped.

You could drill through the boly and use an "easy out" to remove it

well i still havent gotten this bolt out. i would get the drill out kit but i dont think there will be enuf room to drill and remove the bolt. i ordered a new one from audi today for $5 (btw the new s5's are sexy as hell). i tried a vise grip on the bolt but still no luck. do you guys think i should just hack at the bumper until i can get it off? im gunna have new bolts and a new bumper soon anyways.

yeah i see what you mean. i'd say your best bet would be a locking wrench. if it wont budge, try using a cheater bar with the locking wrench to add some torque

ehh i got no welder, and i tried locking pliars, which just slid around the rust. this thing is in there so good i think its welded in. i had the locking pliars on there so that it was almost imposible to close them, thats how tight they were, and the pliars didnt budge easily, but then they just spun right around the head of the bolt. thers no way im lettin this one bolt make me keep my old bumper. that things gotta go.
