sub box enclosure

Default sub box enclosure

Does anyone have a enclosure in a B5 A4 in one of the side areas of the boot that are receded away from main boot over the arches??
if so can i see some pics please

Sorry I just have a Bil Ol' Box chillin back there, but i know some people do here, try searching I remember seeing pix a while back

yes thanx that is what i am looking for does anyone have a guide on how do make it from mdf not fibreglass

I have no idea whether a B5 has enough room to build a box with sufficient volume, but give the mocking up with cardboard a try. Crutchfield.com includes volume requirements in their sub listings so you can search for speaker that would work in the space available.

I sent this one to Bentframe a while ago. He got lucky cuz I gave it away (would not fit my avant).



Here's a test fit during construction (it fit perfectly - not in the pic though cuz of the wires still not routed correctly)



Then I built one for my avant.
