this sucks
i rebuilt the engine on my 97 1.8t because the previous owner ran it with low oil and blew up the engine so i had it all rebuilt and only had 1 more code to fix and it blew up again the reason this time was because the shop that i got the engine work done milled the rod that had play in it and then the bearing didnt sit on the crank like it was supposed to, but you we couldnt tell when we put it back together, so it ended up melting the bearing to the rod and ****** up my crank. the only good news is that the engine shop has volunteered to buy all new parts that were messed up and all gaskets that i need to rebuild i took the engine out and completely tore it down saturday and sunday and its all goin in monday to get re fixed and hopefully it'll all be ready to be put back together and put in next weekend (hopefully without anymore problems) i just with i had money to put a big turbo in it while the engine is out
