My 1997 A4, 1.8t feels like it has no power. The turbo must not be working. I don't have a CEL, yet. Can anyone say what it feels like when the turbo goes bad? How much is a turbo these days?

you have to be more specific. you cant just say no power and no cel. describe how the car accelerates and how it feels compared to normal. does it sound different? engine noise..turbo noise..etc..

I had a bad MAF once and the car went into limp more where it wont go over 100mph. it was weird. It also had no acceleration until you picked up momentum after like 60mph.
