Suddenly not able to unlock my car
Hi all,
I am sorry that my first post is about the problem, before that i simply enjoyed reading useful posts and always found the answers.
This time its different, I have audi a8 d3 4.2l 2003, and parked my car in front of office to get something when I came back after 2-3 minutes I was not able to unluck my car.
I tried all the buttons on my key, but nothing happens. So I am unable to open doors and trunk as well.
First I believed that this was the key, so I went back home and got a spare one, come back to my car and same thing, nothing happens.
The main question is how can I open my trunk lid or doors? what could possible happen?
The car was fine just 3 minutes ago, how can bring my car to dealership if its lock in parked and on handbrake?
* just to add never had any problem with unlocking my car, or starting the engine. Today we have cold weather its around -5 Celsius first time this year

There is a manual key slot under the door handle, and if I remember correctly near the tag lamp on the trunk lid.
Most likely the battery went flat or possibly an issue with the Kessy.
You will know more once you get the doors open.
There is an emergency transmission release under the ashtray.
Can't remember how you remove the handbrake in an emergency.
Best thing to do would be to get trunk open, jumpstart if necessary [read manual so you don't fry battery management module] and drive to a service location.
Otherwise get a flatbed tow after releasing transmission and brake.
I don't have a D3 anymore but the procedures are in the manual.
