Default SuperCharger Theory

I always wanted to try this on a 1.8/2.0T
i been pondering this idea for a while and i thought i would share with you
it not something i can do now since i have no fund[&o]
get a large supercharger and drop the whole turbo thing
i want a nice track car someday and i dont want the big lag from a big turbo
i want a lot of low and mid range power and a supercharger would do the trick

does it make sense to u guys
our car are prepped for boost already you know so a supercharger should
work well with our engines

theres superchargers that make about 20+ PSI now which would be perfect for our engines
you guys see any flaws in my plansor any i just insane
besides the crazy custom pully and belts and tuningthats gonna have to be made someday is there something im missing in my idea

it’s possible, there’s nothing impossible to out cars, even rear mount turbo … but y super charger? most of the time car have supercharger if turbo is hard to install, not enough space... ….
buy we already have tubro that easily makes 20psi… and custom work will cost you $$$$!

Yeah it has the twin turbo V8. And they installed it to make it so there was not any turbo lag.

With a SC there is not lag. You get instant boost. If I had the money I would do it!

Why not run a twin-scroll turbo and significantly lower the turbo lag without changing out all the hardware?

the twin scroll turbo is the best thing you can do it really has no lag and gives you low end power instantly but it costs quite a bit of money$$$, i would get that instead of a supercharger , i wonder if they sell turbos like the ones in the new porsche 997 turbo with Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG), probably wayy too many headaches =( lol
