Default surging ?

So now that the weather has gotten cold my car has been surging even after warming up for 10-15min. I am thinking about putting some "heet" and replacing some coolant to make it 60/40 (60 coolant/40 water). The car is not getting as warm as it does in warm weather months but I know that's normal. Any other suggestions?

how cold is it on the gauge? mine was getting to only 1/4 of the way instead of 1/2, so i just replaced the thermostat and now its perfectly fine in below freezeing temps... could just be a coincidence that your thermo went out when it started getting cold.

yeah man just go to http://www.ecstuning.com/ and get a thermostat, its a cheap $17 fix and easy to do, yours is stuck open like mine was, so your motor stays cooler and the ecu dumps more fuel into it trying to warm it up, and gas milage went way down? i did mine like 2 weeks ago and everythign is perfect again, getting ~300 miles to the tank and the temp is at half.
