suspension height opinions.
Hm. I'd say the opposite. I don't think I'll ever change my body unless this car gets too extreme to use on a daily basis, or the bumper gets wrecked and a non-OE one is cheaper. So I don't really care how the car looks, and will gladly sacrifice a sweet stance for useful suspension travel and curb-clearing ground clearance.
My dream A4 has a ski rack, 16x9" factory-appearing wheels, and a 300whp 20v I5.
I've been thinking about trading someone with an A8/Boxter brake set-up so I can run the 16x8s off my friend's Ur-S4. Someone make me a deal...

i found a good kit on ebay for just a little over 400 (H&R springs w/ bilstein shocks). but i wanted them adjustable so i added the ecs coilover conversion sleves which were 270.... so i spent under $700. instalation wasnt that hard, i now hate spring compressors, and i had to pound the rear drivers side shock off the lower control arm, but besides that everything was smooth sailing.
Did you use a pnuematic spring compressor? A friend at his shop let me use his, i've used the old manual compressors and they are the most dangerous things ever invented.
Just wanted to say the car looks great!

imo, 0.5"/1" from front does not hurt but be carefull about the fender, you must roll the front fenders. I ripped my tire. I rolled the front fenders myself (I have a topic about it in here with pictures)
depend on how many people you ride in the car, you can keep the back or drop a little.

i used some ghetto manual autozone things, i felt that they were kindof safe but cranking them was a pain in the ***. along with a bunch of other things, but they worked.
