Koni makes good stuff. You can get a set for around $900 shipped from quite a few Audi aftermarket sites.
PureMS has them for $950 shipped.
As far as other options, there's H&R, Vogtland, and KW. I wouldn't go with anything other than a european company. When was the last time you heard of an Audi in Japan?
