I know this started about upper links and lower control arms and now it has changed into brakes. Anybody have anything to comment about the brake issue? Do others have trouble with their brakes in the rain?

I have found that to be the case - mine are good when it's dry out, but when it's wet and raining, my brakes suck ***. It's like I'm driving with air in the lines. It's very likely that slotted or drilled rotors will help, as they'll give the water somewhere to go and keep it from floating the pads. I'll let you know when my slotted/drilled A8 kit arrives.

I'm right in Binghamton (Chenango Bridge to be exact, about a mile and a half from rte 88 exit 2, and about 3 miles from rte 81 exit 5. Where are you located? Hiwords is here in town too, and we've hung out before. We're thinking of a mini-tech day in the near future, around Thanksgiving - I invited Brightside06 down from the Cortland area too, and there are some guys in Norwich that I need to PM about it. Anytime you're going to be here in town, drop me a PM in advance and if I am free, I'll come out and meet up with ya

I work in Binghamton and live in Brackney, Pa near Quaker Lake. I'd be happy to get together and get some ideas on where to go with my car.

LOL I bet you can't wait for that (can you say "remote window roll-up" heheh). Manufan, definitely meet up with us - one of us can get in touch with you once we nail down a day that we're gonna meet.

Looks pretty good. I'm still doing the A8 upgrade with the slotted/drilled Powerstop rotors though - if you're gonna replace, replace with bigger
