Default Suspension Suggestions

About 12 months ago I upgraded my 2005.5 A4 from the OEM suspension to the following: H&R Sport Springs and Bilstein Sport Shock. My desire was to lower the ride height a little and firm up the suspension. The result is an extremely stiff ride. Returing to my summer car ('03 Boxster S, no mods) I realize how stiff and bouncy the ride in the A4 is. I want to do something to soften the ride to make it more tollerable, rough roads are plain miserable.

I want a suspension that is firm and more responsive than the stock set up. Before just going back to my stock set up any suggestiions? Can I use the H&R Sport Springs with the stock shock absorbers? Initially I was thinking of sport springs only, but I was told that I couldn't use them with the OEM shocks because the sport springs will eventually blow out the OEM shocks. Is that true?

I am looking for a compromise between soccer mom stock and the track type suspension I am running now.

Default RE: Suspension Suggestions

if anything go the other way around you do not want to put lowering springs on stock shock you will nlow your stock shock within 6 months put in the bisteins and maybe if you can find a set of stock sport springs put that on and hopefully that is the ride you are looking for
