Default suspension/wheel help

hey guys...
i just got a B6 and i want to put rims/drop the car.

i dont really care about how well it handles, i just want to lower it for looks. what would be the best way to keep the ride as close to stock as possible? i was thinking either 18 or 19 inch rims and i dont really want to lower the car too much... i think just 1" or 1 1/2" lower would be fine.

not sure if i have the sport suspension (dont have car/paperwork with me).. here is a pic

thanks for your help!

fyi: i have researched a bit here... but most people care about the performance difference in lowering the car with springs/struts or coilovers, etc...

im just interested in keeping the ride quality as smooth as possible.

Well, you could roll the springs, or cut them, or just take them out, even...

haha cut springs, yup thats the way to go for great ride quality.

But seriously try H&R, Neuspeed, or maybe Tein would give you what you want.

You already have a sport suspension, so you are lower then some of us ( me ) if you want to go lower then that its gonna be slammed, get your wheels and tires first and see what kind of drop you need, youll probly need to get coil overs to go lower then the sport suspension
