Sympony Radio Unlock
I just searched the forum, not finding quite the right answer i was looking for... I have a Symphony radio in a 2000 a6. when i bought it, it didn't come with the radio booklet, subsequently without the code. now i have to disconnect the battery and am not quite sure if these will require an unlock code as my delta radio did. if so, is there any other way to retreive the code without going to the dealer and pay $98, as I was quoted today??? If I would have the VAG Com with the ross tech software, can you set the radio, so it won't require a code without actually having it??? Any help is appreciated!!!
yes you will need the code if you just unplug the battery.they sell a memory saver that is supposed to keep radio and computer functions when the battery is unplugged.the saver plugs into the cig. lighter.i havent looked for one though.
