TomRitt the clutch is one month old though. I don't think it's going to start slipping this soon.

I'm running stock shocks (not the sport ones) with Eibach springs...
you won't be running that setup for too long....those shocks are gonna die on you within the next few months

I know but I'm leaving the country in a month and Im coming back in september and the car is going to stay in a garage for the whole summer (which is a shame). So when I come back the first thing I'm gonna do is put coil-overs.

dont do a drop launch. keep the rpms at idle and do a full throttle half clutch launch

actually my clutch kit improves launches by the thousand. the reason is is because the clutch travel on the stock 1.8T is so long that it doesnt engage till about 3/4 of the way released with my kit the clutch engages almost immediatly. so that could be the problem

Guys I'm having a problem with taking off the line. I launch at around 3000 rpm and you can hear the tire spin a little and then the car would jump. But after the jump it seems like all the power drops down and the rpms drop to around 1000 even though I'm pushing the gas pedal to the max.

Is this normal and I just need enough practice or anything wrong?

It's a 1999 A4 1.8T Quattro 5-Speed with an ugrated clutch.
Your clutch is slipping
I had that same problem before, It was my clutch so I replaced it with a stage 2 clutch and now its a monster when I launch it no more slipping. I always launch at 5 grain and no problems
