hey guys i've been looking at 2.8 A4's and i've seen different ones have different steering wheels.

this one has the 4 spoke wheels

and i've seen alot with a 3 spoke and what looks like a little logo at the bottom

whats the differences between the cars?

 

4 spoke steering wheel means the car is definately not equipped with the sports package.
3 spoke wheel doesn't necessarily mean the car has the sport pkg either... as the wheel could be added as its own option.

 

I don't know for sure, but i'd think the steering wheel would relate to the year. the older models had 4 spoke and they moved to the 3 spoke on newer ones. my 2000 has a 3 spoke. (the logo on the bottom is the S Line logo, doesnt really make a diff. that the logo is there its just a design thing for the steering wheel)

 

Go sport if you can find one in your $$ range.

 

my car has a sport pkg and it had a 4 spoke wheel.

 

how much better is the handling on the sport pack over the regular? could i just replace the struts with more agressive ones? and are the wheels wider or does it just come with better tires?

oh and also what do the wheels look like on the models with the sport pack?

 

I would get tired of looking at this copper/brown interior.
Gives me a headache already.
But then again, I get migraines all the time.

yea some did i think 97, 98 2.8 and 1.8t.

 

the steering wheel is just an s-line option. I have it on my b5....just looks better
